EmpireAVenue – Fuel your Social-Media output – A typical conversation . . .

Explain it to others. I did a lot. Exactly with the above headline. I thought it was simple enough ? It was(n’t) because it triggered questions and made people . . .

. . . Stop instead of walking away.

„So how do you get money out of it ?“ is one of their favorite questions to which I usually reply: „Wrong approach. SoMe is the loooong winded road to the market. The BIG wheel. Or let me put it this way . . . do you have a twitter, fb-fanpage, G+, LinkedIn ?“

„Yes, yes, yes and . . . yes.“

„How do THEY make YOU money ?“

„Erm . . . ok . . . hmh, it takes time, likes, fans and spreading the word and still cannot say that business is directly linked to my SoMe. Unless of course you have solid funds to sponsor an agency or so for the quick success. Which is not guaranteed either.“

„See ? But what EAV does is fueling your Social-Media output. Accelerating exactly the process of likes, fans, spreading the word or whatever it is legally and white hat you want to achieve with major Online-Networks. It’s as simple as that.“

“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough,” Albert Einstein.

„Want some examples of what I accomplished with the help of EAV ?“

„Yes, sure, go tell . . . „

„So which example would interest you the most, LinkedIn, twitter, facebook, G+ or YouTube ?“

I will follow up this blog with examples once I got 50+ completions in this Survey on Potential Impact of EAV EmpireAVenue on your Marketing Mix >>>>>

Questions ? Just ask . . . hehehe . . .

  3. I think you reallly hit on what separates the serious social media players from the posers. It’s an immersion into the culture for quality networking, not a quick-money, low investment ploy or superficial sales pitch. That dose of reality that shines through in Empire Avenue interaction is what gives the genuine bond and mark of sincerity to the relationships formed on the Avenue that people who rely on bulk email lists and intrusive advertising will never understand in an artificial sales posture.

    • Thanks, Ron, yes, sorting the wheat from the chaff asap is crucial me thinks. Otherwise you get lost with various time sinks and energy vampires. Allow a virtual 20 seconds opening followed by two or three qualifying questions . . . and if they don’t respond well . . . well . . . move on.

  6. I sometimes try to explain EA as just another social media channel; albeit one built upon the other channels.

The great strength of EA is that it can assist with achieving many different goals; unfortunately that complexity also can become a weakness.

  7. I knew many people have written posts about EAv, but had never seen them gathered together by subject. Excellent job! BTW, I love the play on words in your blog name! :O)
