Sometimes it’s not that easy to recognize spam mails especially for me when they’re about new networks.

But before learning harder lessons I embedded a routine check way back to avoid getting trapped.

Let’s take the screenshot below (click picture to enlarge) . . .

First check: Do you know the messenger ? Failed. Don’t know them. And the one I know from elsewhere probably only shares the same name but wouldn’t send an invite nor – according to the name and their online identity – would qualify for said network according to the second check.

Note: Whenever you would get a similar invite from me you should also double-check. Most probably my identity would have been misused or there’s a name similarity for other reasons. And I certainly would only invite you when we had a good relationship and were connected elsewhere.

Second check: Google . . . p1.cn . . . which brought up 810.000 entries on google.com . . . and amongst them a blog called . . .

Chinese private social network P1 doesn’t want to expand abroad

. . . Citing / quote: Yu Wang, P1.cn founder & CEO, announces today at the 6th edition of CHINICT in Beijing that the Chinese private social network has no intention to expand abroad.

Third check – would I want to join ? According to this article . . . Inside P1.cn – China’s Exclusive SNS . . . hmh. Would you ?

So all in all . . . it qualifies as unsolicited spam mail and P1 would be better off checking their backdoors and whether they’re being abused too. I mean . . . it happens to dhl and ups too.

Here you can click and check whether you like it or not smile

I’ll expand on the above topic on my own wiedow blog soon.

Business : Blödmann fliegt nach China . . . accepting presents . . .

. . . You haven’t heard a lot from me recently in blogs. This is due to the aftermath of our China trip where – at the end – we both got some nice presents from one and the same business partner.

Alice’s present is best reflected through this ecademy club >>>>>
Mine you get a clue here >>>>>

Of course we also have said items as superfaves on superfan. Please join my invitation code >>>>> and become directly part of my network.

In the meantime there’s been some people who doubted that we got these items as present because it all went beyond their horizon what they would consider a suitable present.

Well . . . the business partner in question, who btw could easily buy ecademy if they wanted, a Hong Kong Chinese, I’ve met already on several occasions, during their stay in Frankfurt, treating them for the typical Hessian cuisine, and in Chengdu where I gave them some silk ties, one from a famous designer with their favourite sport as motive. Golf.

In Hong Kong finally they had the chance to pay back. In a way. They did. I felt very, very pleased.

You may wonder what kind of businessman they are to make such presents . . . well . . . on every occasion, whenever I use my item people come and ask me about that toy. And on multiple occasions I mentioned that I got this as a present from a business partner.

That also pays back. For their my our future business. Many of those I spoke to are curious to learn about them. And no, you won’t find any entries about them in any networks.

But their marketing department which learned about the social web during my presentation in their office. I finally even offered them to set up profiles for free on Twitter, InterNations, yasni and ecademy worth 1,000 Euro

When you’re interested to learn more about my personal experience in China and Hong Kong you may wish to read my other Blödmann blogs here . . . >>>>>

Why Blödmann ?

Read the story about Blödmann here >>>>>

Cold call relation of this blog . . . as serious business prospect/partner you may get many things/services for free where others have to pay.

Tune in . . . David Gates – Everything I Own . . . smile

Have fun, Andreas Wiedow
